Being English, tea is more than something to accompany a biscuit, or a way to kill time at the office. Tea's essential and consumed 15-25 times a day. I don't think I quite realised how much I relied upon tea until I moved to America and found that it's ruddy hard to find. Many of my favourite restaurants and cafes don't serve tea. (Only ice tea!)
3 days ago I took a morning hot air balloon ride over 'wine county' in California. Up at 4 am, at the site at 5 am and there was an abundance of hot coffee and NO TEA! And then no tea to be found back at the hotel afterwards.
